Replace 4 pin trailer connector. Get it as soon as tue dec 8. I need to replace the trailer connector. The damaged plug on the trailer harness has a white yellow yellow brown and yellow green.

I have a 4 pin replacement and it has a green yellow white and brown. Built in led test lights confirm proper connection of each trailer function. Do i splice it.

I only have yellow wire and 2 other wires that are yellow with green and yellow with brown. You can replace the round 5 pin trailer connector on your trailer with a 5 pin flat trailer connector like part hm47910 but i would recommend replacing the existing connector with a 7 pin round trailer connector like the pollack 7 pole trailer end connector pk12706 or a 4 pin flat connector like part hm48110. Simply remove the damaged connector insert the wires into the connector and fasten the cover to secure the wires.
